Charles Barker had always dreamed of owning the Glacier House in Government Camp, Oregon. He's no stranger to the mountain; from 2009-2021, Charles was General Manager at the Mazama Lodge, where he did everything to make it a wonderful escape for Mazamas, ski clubs, school groups, and more. The lodge hosted and catered weddings and celebrations of all types. Charles graduated from the CIA in New York (Culinary Institute of America), and you can taste his experience and enthusiasm in every bite of his menu.

When Charles is not cross-country skiing at Teacup or reading Modern Train Magazine, you can usually find him packing springy snakes into a can to send to his kids at college and working on his compendium of schmaltzy Dad jokes. Stop and say "hi" when you see him. Don't be shy, he's the friendliest guy in the world.
